Privacy Policy

The short version: your content is yours. In Solo mode your planner data lives on your device and we cannot see it. We collect the minimum needed to sign you in and honour your purchase, we don't run ads or trackers, and we never sell data.
Who we are
Pebi Studios is an independent studio based in Ontario, Canada, making local-first creator tools like the Pebi Content Planner. For anything in this policy, email pebistudios@gmail.com.
What we collect, and why
- Account details. When you create an account, our sign-in provider (Clerk) stores your email address and name so you can log in. We use it to identify your account and, rarely, to contact you about your purchase or the service.
- Purchase details. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record. They handle your payment and card details; we never see your card number. We receive your license key, its status, and the email it was issued to, so we can unlock your copy.
- Team workspace content. If you use a Team workspace, the content you put in it syncs through our servers (hosted on Cloudflare) so your teammates can see it in real time. That's the entire reason we store it, and it is only readable by the members of that workspace.
- Error reports. If something breaks, the app may offer a "Copy details" report. It contains technical information only (the error, your browser, how many drops you have), never the content of your drops, and it goes nowhere unless you choose to email it to us.
What we deliberately do not collect
- Your Solo planner content. In Solo mode, drops, captions, hashtags, attachments, and files stay in your browser and on your computer. They are not uploaded to us.
- Analytics and ads. No ad networks, no tracking pixels, no behavioural analytics inside the planner.
Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie from Clerk to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to hold your planner data on your device. That's it.
Who touches data on our behalf
- Clerk (sign-in and accounts)
- Lemon Squeezy (payments, as merchant of record)
- Cloudflare (hosting, and storage for Team workspaces)
Each processes data under their own privacy terms, and none of them get more than they need to do their job.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep account and purchase records for as long as you have an account, and as long as tax rules require for purchases. Want your account and any Team content we hold deleted? Email pebistudios@gmail.com from your account address and we'll take care of it. Solo content is already in your hands: it lives on your device, and deleting it there deletes it, period.
Where the law fits
We follow Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA). If you're in a place with stronger rights, like the EU, we honour those too, and Lemon Squeezy handles the rights connected to payment data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the planner's "What's new" notes and update the date at the top of this page.
